About us in gallery Lk-kunst 2000 -

Atelier and Gallery Lk-kunst.dk has exixted in many years. Mostly as studeo but the studeo opened 4 times a year for exhibitions, poetry etc. Gallery Lk-kunst.dk has been at Bogholder Alle 66 kl. th since 2000 to ?. The 50 m2 rooms she had in many years.

A new a wish was created because visual artist Lotte Kjøller's studio's shop next door became vacant. In the countryside there are very large studios with are also galleries with exhibitions. The new premises made Lotte wish for an artist-run gallery with its own art school next to Ateliér Lk-kunst.

Lotte Kjøller's Atelier LK-kunst.dk had then developed and become large. 100 m2 in total with studio, depot and gallery. A few years later, Lotte close Bogholder Alle 66 kl tv but kept her workshop th as a gallery Lk-kunst just for her own art. Lotte then made group exhibitions in rented or borrowed rooms.

Lotte looked for a new place for the gallery and studeo after she has moved from the city Copenhagen 2023. In Copenhagen her place was 50 m2 once again.

The Art school had already existed for many years but now wanted better and more inspiring premises with more space and changing exhibitions on the walls. It has become more common in the country for artists to create exhibition spaces and this gallery will be the next in line. It is an expression of Lotte's beautiful thoughts, she is very visionary some say. But without others who have helped, it couldn't be done. EXHIBIT IN GALLERY LK-KUNST.DK

Gallery Lk-kunst is an artist-run sharing gallery where each artist gives a nab in the gallery to make it run. In return, they get Gallery Lk-kunst for 14 days each year for their own exhibition. They pay for membership eath mounth 700kr. The artists manage it all themselves with the help of their own association. The gallery can also be rented for a fee of an approved artist by the jury.

Gallery Lk-kunst is now 50m2 divided into 2 rooms and is located together with Lotte Kjøller studio in Copenhagen. In addition to changing Pop up art exhibitions, underground art, installations, artist talks, poetry readings etc., there are drawing and painting lessons on the premises, as one mann teaching and croquis drawing. This is also where Lotte Kjøller holds her famous meetings and thinks her beautifull thoughts.

In 2023 Gallery Lk-kunst.dk thange name to Lk-kunst and move the gallery to countryside. We are going to make a new Gallery Lk-kunst nearby where we will live.
